First Baby Pictures

Yesterday Andrew and I went to our second doctors appointment. They did an ultrasound at 5 weeks and I was not anticipating them doing another one this close but the doctor wanted to anyways. He brought us in for a quick ultrasound and it was more than I expected! The first one was at 5 weeks 5 days and it was just a dot. Yesterday at 9 weeks 2 days the baby was moving and you could see the arms and legs. It was amazing to see the changes in a matter of a few weeks! We were able to see the heart beat in the first one but it was hard; this time the heart beat was very pronounced and he turned on the volume so we could listen to it :) I can only imagine what the future ones will be like! I think the next time we'll have one is when we find out the sex of the baby, we can't wait!

We're Having A Baby!!!

Hello All,

Andrew and I are very excited to announce we are having a baby! We told the family this past Friday night at a family game night birthday celebration for Ashley, Tanya, Melody and myself. We had everyone together for whiteboard pictionary and during the game I did an all play so everyone could guess. Regardless of which card I pulled I chose to do the clue "bun in the oven". It was all a blur to me, everyone was guessing and talking all at once and I started to focus in on Debbie. I heard her say it and then I was waiting if they all would put it together. Andrew had walked up and put his arm around me and I know I had a face that was ready to cry any minute :) Everyone at that point figured it out and the tears and hugs started. It will be the 1st grand baby on the Liby side and the 7th for the Glover Girls. I am currently 8 weeks and due in the end of September!

Everyone has asked how it has been so far and I'd like to say mostly good. It is very interesting to notice changes in your body overnight. We had our first doctors appointment at week 5 and we were able to see the heartbeat during the ultrasound. We were able to get an early appointment because of our planned ski trip. I played house mom for the cabin and even though I didn't get to ski I had a great time. Week 5 and 6 were so far has been the hardest, food didn't smell or look good to me :) This past week has been much better and really just a few moments here and there that I feel bad. I've heard stories of how it could be so I am very thankful it isn't worse!

Andrew and I have been planning for a little one for awhile now so we have already started collecting things as we see them. Regardless of the sex it will be 100% Gator Baby! Nicky and Chad got us our first gator outfit and bib and we are looking forward to showing that outfit off next football season! Speaking of football the Florida vs Alabama game will be the first weekend of October and depending on when the little one comes it is possible we will be moving the tailgate to the hospital room!

I know I have promised in the past to be better but now it is really important for me to keep everyone in touch! Look forward to updates and of course pictures!

We are so blessed and thankful that we are going to parents!

Side Note: Hurley and Lexi are handling it very well, we'll see when September comes......

Till next time!
