Megan and Joe's Wedding

March 13, 2010 Megan Jerabek said "I DO" to Joe Mott. The weekend started off with running into the groom at Burger King. Andrew and I saw his truck and I yelled out the window "Joe you're getting married today!" He was all smiles! Before the wedding we walked around Waterford Lakes and had lunch with Julie's boyfriend Jeff. It was great to finally meet and get to know him. Juliana got into town and it was time to get ready!!!

The ceremony was in Winter Park Village at a gorgeous Catholic Church. Megan's little one Noah and his cousin Peyton walked down the isle together as ring bearer and flower girl and they did good (with a little help from grandpa). Megan stole the show as she followed the two of them on the arm of her dad.

The reception was at Dubsdread, a golf club in Winter Park. It had two large rooms that were elegantly decorated with rustic wood beams and two fire places. We had a great time dancing the night away with our Club W211 and the honorary members!

It was so great to have the girls together again. Oh how I've missed them!

Opening Ceremony

Saturday
This past Saturday was opening ceremony for Jason, Jordan and Jacob's little league teams. The entire family was out there first thing in the morning to see the kids walk to the main field in uniform with their teams. They had bounce houses for the little ones, snow cone machines throughout the fields and give-a-aways. During the opening ceremony they honored two very important people that received the Sportsmanship Award last season, one from the softball and one from baseball. Jason my nephew was the recipient last season and he was honored Saturday by throwing the opening pitch! What a throw! They gave him a really nice jersey stitched with his name and the best part about it was it was surprise to him! Being on the spot for something like that takes a lot and he did a great job!
This season things are a little different than last, all three were on the same team last season and it was really nice. With all three on different teams it makes scheduling difficult but we always find time to get to as many games as possible. I will say the Glover's do have a great showing at all these events!

Sunday

Sunday my parents celebrated their 40th anniversary! We sent them to one of my favorite places for dinner The Melting Pot. They arrived to a two seater table with a flower centerpiece and a card from all of us. They loved it!

Monday

To celebrate their anniversary with the family we had everyone over to my parents for an amazing dinner. We heard that Jay and Gloria (mom's brother and sister-in-law) were coming into town so we thought that would be a perfect time to have a dinner. I think everyone tried a new recipe and it all turned out great. It was soo nice to see my parents sit back and talk with Jay and Gloria outside at the table while eating appetizers while we all were putting the finishing touches on dinner. My mother never sits before a meal so it was really nice to do this for them. We ate on the porch and the weather actually was nice for a change, every table had story telling and toward the end it turned into who could do the craziest things :) From double jointed Gloria, wiggling of ears to crazy toes! It's always eventful at the Glover House! It was great to see them as they passed through town and we look forward the upcoming weddings!

Before dinner Emily had her second home track meet. We all would have loved to have been there this time however with the dinner it didn't work out. She did great and we are excited about the next home meet where we can cheer her on!
