I thought I'd be better at this :)

Ok so I know I promise a lot to be better but I guess life just takes over, time flies and things don't get done as often as you'd hoped :)

Since my last post life has been fun-filled and busy as usual. I'm going to try to sum things up (if that's possible for me).....

In late May early June we went on a wonderful Liby family cruise for 7 nights! We cruised to the western caribbean with Grandma Sharon and husband Bob, Gus and Debbie, Bob and Cheryl, Allison and Chris and Pat (missing Kari!). The cruise was coordinated by Grandma Sharon and Bob and they did an amazing job picking everything, we all appreciated it very much! It was the very last week I could have even cruised being pregnant .... I was the cheapest date of them all :) It would take too long to go into all the details of everywhere we went but trying to sum it up.... we saw spectacular views, met wonderful people, saw so many cultures and had family time that we will remember forever. Andrew and I also celebrated our 3rd anniversary while on the cruise :)

After the cruise Andrew was traveling a lot with work but we were still able to get the office turned into the new office guest bedroom combo :) Dave and Danielle were the first to sleep in our new guest bedroom after we had it all set up. The weekend before the 4th they came in and spent a night with us. We took them to the river and enjoyed a day hanging out under the tent and jet skiing. I wasn't able to go out but I had fun playing with Cori while her parents were out having a good time!

The weekend of the 4th Andrew and I took the time to go to Orlando for a day and take care of some shopping and the baby registry (finally I know). It was getting late and we were at our last store just wandering around Ikea and as we rounded a corner we ran into Dan and Sara! What are the odds? We were sooo excited to see them it has been a very long time and they were unable to make it the weekend before with Dave and Danielle. We didn't have long with them but even the 30 mins catching up was great and I'm so glad we were able to run into each other in a town none of us live in!

July 4th we had family time at the beach with both families. The weather wasn't great but we all still had a great time. Later that night we met up with Megan, Joe and Noah for fireworks in Cocoa Beach. We rarely have people come our way and to have old roomies come in two weekends in a row was a lot of fun. July 4th was really a great relaxing day for us! Speaking about people coming our way.... The next day Brittany and Jesse were passing through and stopped to have lunch with us. I really don't remember the last time we had soo many visitors in such a short amount of time, we loved every minute of it. We had a great lunch with them at a new restaurant on the river, it was sad to see them hit the road but we appreciated them stopping to see us!

Chris and Jason coming in

The following weekend Julie was home in the Fort and Andrew and I were able to meet up with her and Juliana for dinner at Tiki! Again most of these visits with friends have only lasted for a short time but every minute counts. We loved seeing everyone and I can't believe we were able to see soo many in such a short time!

The rest of July has been slower just figuring things out around the house getting things for the baby! I am currently 31 weeks and can't believe it. I really say this too much but where did the time go? I feel somewhat unprepared but I know it will all come together. We have the furniture (not fully assembled) but in the house and I love it! We also got the paint this past weekend so hopefully soon we can start putting things together and seeing some progress on the room :) The fabric for the bedding came in so we might even start on that too :) It's hard to think that in around 9 weeks we are going to be bringing our little one home from the hospital! We at least have 9 weeks to figure out a name :) just a small detail that yes our little one doesn't even have a name yet :) it's on the never ending list of things we need to do :)

Here are the belly pictures for those that have put in the request :)

It's a......

At our last doctors appointment at 18 weeks the doctor had asked us if we were going to find out the sex of the baby and if we were setting up an ultrasound at 20 weeks to find out (20 weeks is the earliest our doctors will tell you at). Well I responded back saying I was hoping to find out today but the doctor at our 14 week appointment wouldn't set one up this early. He responded back saying yes 20 weeks is the earliest you can and I said well Andrew is going to be out of town for the next month. He looked at Andrew and said you won't be here? He then said well daddy has to be here so I'm going to get you in today, would you like to find out today? Andrew looked at him and told him how impatient I was and yes we would like to find out today. I was all smiles, sitting there waiting to find out if they could squeeze me in right then was killing me!
As we watched the ultrasound tech look for the best view my heart was pounding. Andrew was holding my hand and she said it is early and there is a chance that it might be too early to tell would you still like me to tell you what I think you are having? We were like yes! She said everything looked good so far and that we were having a little girl! Andrew and I were trying to figure out what was what on the screen before she said anything, we both had an idea it was but still wanted her to say it :)
Our thought going into this appointment was with the scheduled appointment timings and Andrew being out of town we would find out at 22 weeks and right before the Liby Family Cruise sooo we were going to announce it then. Well that isn't till the end of the month so we knew we had to come up with another idea because there was no way we could keep it in that long :) So we said Mother's Day is coming up why not do it then. We were able to keep it in for a week and a half and surprise our mom's yesterday.
We decided to buy girl things for the mom's to keep at their houses. I wrapped girl blankets, pacifiers and clothes. They both opened them at the same time and my mom said it's all pink, Debbie then asked do you know if it's a girl? It was great to see their reactions that they were going to have a little granddaughter :) I had a lot of fun with the clothes because I found really cute iron-ons and made onesies with pink footprints and hand prints on them. Debbie got a pirate princess with a sparkle skull and cross bones which is perfect for the Liby house :) I had a lot of fun making them and I'm sure it's only the start.
Everyone has been on me about when we were going to find out and I know I had everyone thinking not till the end of May and I know I didn't necessarily tell the truth, I'm sorry but it was well worth keeping it a secret :) During our week and a half it was soo sweet to only have us in on the secret. Andrew would come home from work and give me a kiss and say we're having a little girl! It was so special to spend that time with each other and having that secret but in the same turn it was soo great to share the news with everyone! I definitely couldn't have waited much longer :)
It was so nice to have everyone over for lunch and share the exciting news on my Mother (to-be) Day :) We are so thankful for our families and especially our Moms who have done so much for us. We look forward to our future parenting, if we we are anything like them I think we will do ok :)
We hope every mother had an amazing day, it really is a special day to celebrate moms and everything they do!

Belly Pictures

I am currently 19 weeks and feeling great! I had a doctors appointment last week and I gained 4 pounds! I get weekly updates of the size of the baby and last week it was a Sweet Potato. When I told Andrew he said Sweet Tater Tot! This week the baby is the size of a mango :)

We were up in Gainesville this past weekend for Pat and Kari's graduation. I have to say this and I know I'm not his mom but.... I remember picking him up after school from 6th grade so he didn't have to walk home and now he is graduating from college!!! I'm feeling older the more I talk about it. Allison is married, Pat graduated from college and we are having a baby! Oh my where did the time go? We had a great time celebrating this weekend with them and the families! We also celebrated Debbie's birthday, it was a busy busy weekend!

On top of the graduations and birthday party we were able to see friends from school that still live up there! Dave, Dani and their little one Cori (who is sooooo good) and we can't forget Maverick :) It was great to finally meet Miss Cori she truly is a great baby. We also stayed with Tyler (thank you again) where our crazy schedules only let us see each other very briefly but it was still great to hang out and catch up on life.

So here they are finally.... belly pictures. There isn't too much yet but don't worry it's coming! I hope everyone enjoys the bump pictures there will be more in the future!

Busy last couple weeks!

The last couple weeks have been very eventful! Emily had her third home track meet and she ran the 100 and 300 hurdles (although she put up a fight) she did great in both events. You can always tell when the Glover's are there because we have coolers in tow and picnic size bag of food and treats for everyone! What can I say we come prepared to sit for a long time!
Jacob and Jordan had baseball games the following night. Both their teams are really playing like a team and we have great games to watch. You can tell the kids are really coming into their own and learning and enjoying the sport. I had to laugh because that night we had a spread of food and treats and my mom made the comment that we are the only family that does it. It works for us and half the time you never know if the concession stand is going to be open or not :) Anyways I'm looking forward to the upcoming games because every game the teams are getting better and better. At my 14 week doctor's appointment I gained 2 pounds since my last one at 9! I have officially broke a hundred and plan to stay over a hundred for some time now :) My next one is at 18 and as much as we'd love to find out the sex at 18 weeks the doctors would prefer not to that early; so it looks like we have to wait until 22 weeks :( I'm sooo impatient it's hard to think that we have to wait this long!!!

The following weekend was Easter!!! The kids did the Easter Egg Hunt at the Avenues, Gleason Park, Faith Viera Church and one at my parents. Could we have added any more in there? Gabriel really enjoyed them all and at church on Sunday all he wanted to do was to see Jesus, it was really cute! Andrew's grandparents were in town and we were able to spend time with them on Saturday and we all got up bright and early for Easter sunrise service. I love sunrise service because it isn't something you get to do but once a year. During Saturday's dinner Debbie brought out Grandpa Al's baby plate and he turned to Andrew and said he wanted the great grand baby to have it. It was really sweet to see him be able to pass down something like his own baby plate to his future great grand baby! Easter weekend was a lot of fun and it was great to spend time with the family. It is always busy but well worth it!

After Easter we started back into the updating the house department! We are skimming out the master bathroom walls and soon we will paint. I'm not allowed to sand (which is frustrating) so I can only mud :( soon it will be all together and painted and I'm sooo excited! We also have 90% of the light fixtures up, fans are next on the list if we can make up our minds. We also started the transition of office to office/guest bedroom. I'd like to have the now guest bedroom future nursery to be cleared out when we find out what we are having so we can start painting!!!

Till next time.....

Megan and Joe's Wedding

March 13, 2010 Megan Jerabek said "I DO" to Joe Mott. The weekend started off with running into the groom at Burger King. Andrew and I saw his truck and I yelled out the window "Joe you're getting married today!" He was all smiles! Before the wedding we walked around Waterford Lakes and had lunch with Julie's boyfriend Jeff. It was great to finally meet and get to know him. Juliana got into town and it was time to get ready!!!

The ceremony was in Winter Park Village at a gorgeous Catholic Church. Megan's little one Noah and his cousin Peyton walked down the isle together as ring bearer and flower girl and they did good (with a little help from grandpa). Megan stole the show as she followed the two of them on the arm of her dad.

The reception was at Dubsdread, a golf club in Winter Park. It had two large rooms that were elegantly decorated with rustic wood beams and two fire places. We had a great time dancing the night away with our Club W211 and the honorary members!

It was so great to have the girls together again. Oh how I've missed them!

Opening Ceremony

Saturday
This past Saturday was opening ceremony for Jason, Jordan and Jacob's little league teams. The entire family was out there first thing in the morning to see the kids walk to the main field in uniform with their teams. They had bounce houses for the little ones, snow cone machines throughout the fields and give-a-aways. During the opening ceremony they honored two very important people that received the Sportsmanship Award last season, one from the softball and one from baseball. Jason my nephew was the recipient last season and he was honored Saturday by throwing the opening pitch! What a throw! They gave him a really nice jersey stitched with his name and the best part about it was it was surprise to him! Being on the spot for something like that takes a lot and he did a great job!
This season things are a little different than last, all three were on the same team last season and it was really nice. With all three on different teams it makes scheduling difficult but we always find time to get to as many games as possible. I will say the Glover's do have a great showing at all these events!

Sunday

Sunday my parents celebrated their 40th anniversary! We sent them to one of my favorite places for dinner The Melting Pot. They arrived to a two seater table with a flower centerpiece and a card from all of us. They loved it!

Monday

To celebrate their anniversary with the family we had everyone over to my parents for an amazing dinner. We heard that Jay and Gloria (mom's brother and sister-in-law) were coming into town so we thought that would be a perfect time to have a dinner. I think everyone tried a new recipe and it all turned out great. It was soo nice to see my parents sit back and talk with Jay and Gloria outside at the table while eating appetizers while we all were putting the finishing touches on dinner. My mother never sits before a meal so it was really nice to do this for them. We ate on the porch and the weather actually was nice for a change, every table had story telling and toward the end it turned into who could do the craziest things :) From double jointed Gloria, wiggling of ears to crazy toes! It's always eventful at the Glover House! It was great to see them as they passed through town and we look forward the upcoming weddings!

Before dinner Emily had her second home track meet. We all would have loved to have been there this time however with the dinner it didn't work out. She did great and we are excited about the next home meet where we can cheer her on!

First Baby Pictures

Yesterday Andrew and I went to our second doctors appointment. They did an ultrasound at 5 weeks and I was not anticipating them doing another one this close but the doctor wanted to anyways. He brought us in for a quick ultrasound and it was more than I expected! The first one was at 5 weeks 5 days and it was just a dot. Yesterday at 9 weeks 2 days the baby was moving and you could see the arms and legs. It was amazing to see the changes in a matter of a few weeks! We were able to see the heart beat in the first one but it was hard; this time the heart beat was very pronounced and he turned on the volume so we could listen to it :) I can only imagine what the future ones will be like! I think the next time we'll have one is when we find out the sex of the baby, we can't wait!
